Estimated METAVIR fibrosis score (eMFS: 0-4) by Shear Wave Elasticity (SWE) was unreliable in detecting cirrhotics. Most cirrhotics (METAVIR F4) had eMFS < 4, thus making SWE unreliable in detecting cirrhosis.
